Furniture will eventually wear and tear over time. However, you can slow down the process by taking the extra precaution in treating your furniture. Remember never expose your furniture to direct sunlight as prolonged exposure to extreme temperature will not only affect the colour of furniture, but also the original brightness and texture of leather and fabric.

Do not use chemical cleaners on your furniture as this may damage the finishings. Use coasters under beverages and protective pads for writing to better protect your furniture’s surface. For daily cleaning, gently rub with a soft cloth over the surface.

Metal surfaces have good resistance to dirt and liquids, but prolonged exposure to water can stain metal and even stainless steel, so it is important to keep metal surfaces dry. Dusting should be done with a soft, cotton cloth or towel. Smudges and smears can be removed using a window cleaning liquid with a paper towel.

For upholstered furniture, such as chairs and sofas, you may vacuum or do some light brushing weekly for general cleaning and to remove surface soil. When it comes to leather, avoid cleaners and detergents that are not made for leather care. A dry cloth and lukewarm water are usually all that is needed to keep the brightness and texture of leather.

Utilising the latest bent wood moulding technology, our furniture is primarily made from quality rubberwood. Its dense grain makes the wood easy to be controlled during the kiln drying process. Thus creating very little shrinkage and has minimal tendency to crack or warp.

Most of our metal parts are rust-proof and have a high resistance to stains, making it very easy to clean and maintain. Metal parts that are not made of stainless steel utilise the highest quality of metal with impurities kept to the lowest level. These surfaces are then powder coated instead of using conventional paint as the lacquer does not contain any solvents.

We carry a selection a quality leather and fabric to match with our furniture. Our in-house designers personally hand-pick each material to suit the individual pieces. Where leather is used, we only select richly coloured and long lasting top grain cowhide. We assure consistency in quality and colour to all of our furniture pieces that are ordered and manufactured at the same time. Our sofa cushions contain down feather making them luxurious and comfy to sit on. We give utmost attention to little details, like the possibility of material stretching and thus ensure our covers do not wrap too tightly around furniture pieces. While creasing may occur, we believe this adds character to the design as well.

Our pleasantly warm tabletops are made from linoleum using raw materials such as linseed oil, resin, wood and limestone coloured flour. These natural materials produce a durable surface and make our tabletops environmentally friendly.
